New Better, Bigger, Brighter Carnival Fun - now it’s all FREE!

Feilding’s Christmas Carnival is getting a festive makeover, to bring FREE family fun for everyone!

We’re making some exciting changes to this year’s Carnival, with one big new goal in mind - making it easier than ever for families to come along, join in and enjoy a full day of Christmas magic. With free carnival rides and activities for the kids, free live local entertainment and a fresh, more compact layout centred around Manchester Square.

We’re bringing the festivities together to create a wonderful community Christmas celebration for every child to join in fully!

The carnival will run from 10am–3pm, with the parade kicking off at 1.30pm on Sunday 13 December, and with just a few weeks to go - that means it’s time to plan your entry in the 2026 Christmas Parade.

Together, let's keep this much-loved tradition alive and make Manawatū’s biggest and best community Christmas Carnival & Parade the brightest and friendliest of all!

We’re helping to spread the spirit of Christmas in the friendliest way and we can't wait to see you there.

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Friendly Feilding is home to the Manawatū's biggest Christmas Carnival!

Feilding’s picturesque CBD with its' heritage streetscape closes to all traffic and transformed for the Christmas Carnival where the streets will feature a massive line-up of non-food and food stalls, amusements, activities and live entertainment for everyone.

Manawatū artists, school groups and bands will keep the entertainment rolling and the community parade spin its’ Christmas magic, weaving joy and excitement amongst the crowds.

Feilding’s festive tradition includes local clubs, groups, schools, churches and business coming together to create something very special, by the community for the community, to enchant in Feilding’s Manchester Lions’ Christmas Parade.

As always friendly Feilding’s good old fashion hospitality and service in its’ boutique stores and eateries will welcome everyone in on carnival day – a great opportunity to get those stocking stuffers for Christmas while the kids enjoy all the entertainment.

Feilding’s Christmas Parade has been held on the second Sunday of December for decades and the team at Feilding & District Promotion are thrilled to invite friends and families again in 2026 on Sunday 13 December from 10am – 3pm, with the Christmas Parade starting at 1.30pm.
