Eat Street Market - Lunch on the Square

Enjoy Feilding's happy Sunday laid-back vibes

Feilding & District Promotion (FDP) is hosting a series of Eat-Street Market events to bring the community together in its’ town’s favourite meeting place – Manchester Square.

“Sundays are a great chance for our community and visitors to gather together for Sunday brunch or lunch as we continue to showcase some of the wonderful food businesses we have in the Manawatū, just as we do in our weekly Friday Farmers’ Markets,” says FDP’s general manager Sarah Gilbertson.

In September FDP hosted Feilding’s first Eat Street Market in the Square, which despite a rainstorm, the people just kept coming right up until closing time.

“We’re bringing this event back by popular demand in 2025 through the warmer seasons each month -  and we would love you to join us.”

The Eat Street market is the perfect place for an outing where everyone gets to choose their favourite foods and get out and about enjoying the happy Sunday laid-back vibes.

It’s in a special setting beneath the landmark clocktower on the cobblestone quadrant in picturesque Manchester Square with its wrap around heritage streetscapes and buildings. 

The Square is also a great spot to draw the hungry crowds in while it’s brimming with colourful eateries, tasty treats and vibrant markets all to the sounds of live music from local talent. 

A full variety of foods from gourmet burgers, fresh hot waffles, stir-fry noodles or rice, and dumplings to authentic wood-fired meats and sides, hangi, whitebait and mussel fritters, Indian and Thai street food, cookies, bubble tea, coffee and so much more!
