Neighbourhood Support Manawatū works closely with NZ Police and Emergency Management Manawatū District Council, as well as other community and social organisations.
With Police we promote community safety and crime prevention.
We continue to build and strengthen connected street/area groups as well as encouraging those who may need special or extra assistance during an emergency event to join our Vulnerable Persons Register within our database. Emergency Management can better assist any vulnerable people during an emergency event.
