Flat Hills Café & Tourist Park is a family-friendly café, farm park and accommodation stop located on State Highway 1 in Ōhingaiti, approximately halfway between Taupō and Wellington.
Set among the rolling Rangitīkei countryside, Flat Hills is a great place to stop for breakfast, lunch, coffee or one of our famous homemade custard squares. Families can enjoy the farm animals, maze, playground, bouncy castle and spacious outdoor areas. Animal tours can be provided, subject to availability and seasonal conditions.
Accommodation includes five unique pod cabins, powered and unpowered campsites, and a fully self-contained cottage. Guests staying in the pods and campground have access to communal bathrooms, showers, a kitchen, campers’ lounge, BBQ area and free Wi-Fi.
There is plenty of parking for cars, campervans, caravans, trailers and coaches, making Flat Hills an ideal stop for families, groups and travellers exploring the North Island.
Open 7 days, 8:30am–3:00pm. Breakfast finishes at 11am and the kitchen closes at 2:00pm, with cabinet food, drinks and coffee available until closing.
