Jacinta Gulasekharam - Jacinta Gulasekharam is an impatient, impact driven social entrepreneur and connector. She co-founded Dignity, a social enterprise with a mission to deliver period equity and has created access to 782,000 individual sustainable period products. The Positive Periods campaign she led resulted in the government committing to free period products for students in Aotearoa. She works full time in the Human Centered Design consulting team at PwC Wellington - bringing the human voice, perspective and aspirations to all her client projects. In her spare time she volunteers as a First Foundation mentor and lends her experience to grow the startup ecosystem.
Dean Williamson - Dean Williamson and his wife Cushla own AgriHQ, a multimedia enterprise employing 35 full time and 35 part time staff with offices in a number of centres from Auckland to Dunedin. Their flagship publication is national farming newspaper Farmers Weekly, supported by leading agricultural news website, farmersweekly.co.nz. They have three sons and live on a small farm forestry block near Feilding.
James Lockhart – James Lockhart maintains a career portfolio across various roles at Massey University’s business school; a director on two large agribusinesses; and, his wife and family’s sheep and beef property. He graduated with a Masterate of Agricultural Science from Massey in 1990; Staff College at Fort Frontenac, Ontario in 1996; and, a PhD in International Business from the University of Auckland in 1997. He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors in New Zealand.
Teresa Yee - Teresa’s career in retail and hospitality sectors has spanned 35 years. This experience includes visual merchandising, design and managerial roles for retail chain stores and department stores overseas and New Zealand. She has also co-owned and operated businesses in the hospitality industry where her emphasis has been to elevate, develop and grow people. Teresa joined Three Oaks Organic in 2019, continuing her eco ethos in business and has an interest in advocating for local sustainable growers and artisan producers. “Looking forward to participating and celebrating the regions talents.”
Maree Pritchard - Maree Pritchard has been Community Operations Advisor at Manawatū District Council for approximately a year. Training in Hospitality Management, Maree began her career working in various related management roles. More recently she has held Governance and Administrative positions in Health and Education before taking on the Local Government challenge. Having been a previous business owner of both a Kitchen & Window business and a BnB, Maree has an understanding of the opportunities and challenges for business owners.
Greg Bignall – Greg Bignall joined the Central Economic Development Agency (CEDA) in 2023. Greg has recently returned to Feilding after living and working overseas in Sydney, London and Singapore for 20+ years. His background is in Procurement, Marketing and Commercial, working for large consumer goods companies Diageo (owner of Johnnie Walker and Guinness) and the L’Oreal Group.
Brian Henderson - Brian Henderson grew up on the family sheep and beef farm near Marton. He graduated from Lincoln University with an Agriculture Degree and joined the Rabobank Manawatu/Wairarapa team in 2021. He enjoys supporting rural communities and helping farmers to grow their business.
