VOLUNTEERING

With many free community projects, activities and events that support our local businesses, groups and residents, we often need the support of our much-loved volunteers bringing another set of eyes, ears and hands helping with planning and organising. We also require some much needed administration support here at our Railway Station office as we strive to keep our community connected and engaged.

Volunteering is a great way to feel connected to where you live, building a wider circle of friendships and sharing your expertise with others. This is empowering for all those who contribute their time and energy to community projects.

As an organisation that is reliant on volunteers, from young and old, we learn so much about how we can better support Feilding and our wider Manawatū District volunteers. Your skills, experience and know-how is hugely valuable to our organisation and community. Often, it's the volunteers teaching us new tricks, and learning more about our awesome town and district - which is fantastic!
