The Kairanga Community Centre is a non-for profit community run facility. Open all year round for bookings for community events, private parties & celebrations, meetings, social club activities & any event that needs a roof over your head!
In 1907 the land for the Kairanga Communty Centre was purchased for £25 from the George Mildon Estate, with the original build cost of £350. With much community use and a significant facility working alongside the school, an upgrade & extension occurred in 1960 and again in 1973.
The Committee aims to provide and manage facilities for social, recreational, cultural and educational purposes and for the physical and intellectual well being and enjoyment of the residents of the Kairanga District and wider community.
