Enid Robert's (1935 - 2023) was a life member of the Feilding and District Art Society.
Painting was an important activity for Enid during her life, allowing an outlet for free expression of ideas, thoughts and things she perceived in the world around her. It remained a strong background interest from her younger years as she raised a family and studied to gain a tertiary degree to practise clinical psychology and psychotherapy. This led into personal self development, societal questioning, Buddhist meditation and environmental concerns. A simpler style of living resulted and on settling in Ashhurst her passion to excel at painting came to the fore.
Participating in various art groups and becoming a keen member of FADAS she was able to explore different mediums and techniques over this 25 year period of more prolific work.
This exhibition is a celebration of the vibrant works Enid created during this time, and the journey to create them.
