The Feilding and District Art Society presents Splinter, an exhibition of handcrafted wooden vessels by Hamish Trounson.
With salvaged timbers, Trounson employs woodturning techniques to craft objects that are both highly functional and superbly decorative. New life is breathed into otherwise abandoned materials - their inherent beauty celebrated in their new forms.
The Splinter Exhibition at Feilding Art Centre celebrates Trounson's desire to lend a second life to forgotten materials. On display is not only a catalogue of exquisite works, but Trounson's undeniable passion for the rescue, reclamation and renewal, of our natural resources.
